Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedln {subject to necessary alterations), as under : Saturday, Mat 8. Northern Porta.—Per train, at 0 a.m.; to connect at Lyttelton. Late letters, travelling post office North express train, at 7.35 a.m. For United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, etc., per Stadt Haarlem, at tt a.m. Newspapers and book packets mails, 5 a. in. on Saturday, 3rd. Late letters by this despatch can be posted in the travelling post office attached to the Northern express, leaving Dunedin Railway Station, on Saturday, May 3, at 7.85 kin. Correspondence intended for transmission per Stadt Haarlem must be specially addressed. Tuesday, Mat 6 ' Sydney, Queensland, and Ttforfhern Ports.—At 1.60 p.m. Late ltuem, guard's van, -I'ort Chalmers train, at £3O p.m. WXDNBSDAT, MAT 7.
