Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin (subject to necessary alterations), as under:— Thursday, May 1. For Bluff and Australian Colonies, at 1.50 p.m. Late letters, guard's van, Port Chalmers train, at 2.30 p.m. Friday, May 2. For United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, per Stadt Haarlem, at 6 a.m. Registered letters for Stadt Haarlem's mails, 5 p.m. on Thursday. Money orders, 4 p.m., on Thursday, Ist. Newspapers and book packets 6 a.m. on Friday, 2nd. Late letters by thi3 despatch can bo posted in the travelling post office attached to the Northern express, leaving Dunedin Railway Station, Friday, May 2, at 7.35 a.m. Correspondence intended for transmission per Stadt Haarlem must be specially addressed.
