THE PRINCESS'S

TO THE EDITOR. Sin,—Things are getting from bad to worse. On Saturday night the stalls were well filled, but to what annoyance were not those who had tickets for that part of the house subjected ? Although it must have been well known that there would be a crowd the entrance on the right of the hotfse was not opened, and everybody had to crush in at the one door. Du iig the intervals the men in charge had not sufficient checks, so that it was a question of sitting the whole thing out or paying again to rejoin your party if you happened to be thirsty. The pit altogether is allowed to circumvent the stalls. It is an intolerable nuisance that a lot of overgrown larrikins should be allowed to sit ©n The dividing bulk-head dangling their legs, shouting, kicking, and expectorating, taking frequent opportunities of dropping down and annexing stall seats. Companies taking the Princess's would very much consult their own interests by insisting upon a different arrangement altogether. Many people would attend the performances it they could do so comfortably in the stalls; they will not be forced into the boxes. It is, indeed, altogether unprecedented that there should be but one entrance and one ticket pigeon-hole for the stalls and pit, and that a filthy stable-yard should have to be traversed by the frequenters of both.—l am, &c;, Playgobb.
