KAITANGATA RELIEF FUND.
The Central Committee for the Kaitangata Relief Fund acknowledge the following further contributions :—Blackstone Hill, per Rollnnd Bros., Ll2 6s; Anderson's Bay, per W. Somerville, collection at church, Lll 8s ; ditto at Sabbath School, LI 10s; Captain Fraser, LIO 10s; police force, per Superintendent Weldon, L 164 14s 6d (LloO subscribed by members of the police force in the South Island and Ll4 14s 6d by persons at Notown in Grey district) ; Mrs Captain Mart, Ll; proceeds of Mornington concert, LlO. In forwarding his cheque, Captain Fraser wrote :—" Captain Fraser encloses his cheque for ten guineas in aid of the unfortunate widows and orphans of the men who so miserably perished in the Kaitangata coal mine."
