Hinemon, with the Southern portion of the San Francisco mails, arrived alongside the railway lier at 8 this morning, the. mails hieing immediately auded and conveyed to Dunedin by the 8.50 train The Hinemoa left Wellington at 8 p.m. on the 18th inst.; liad a light fair wind until passing -Altaroa. when she encountered a strong S.W. breeze, which continued to arrival. Captain Fairchild reports speaking, between Akaroa and. Qamaru, the ship Bebingtun. from London for Canterbury. Captain Roberta wished te be reported all well. The . schooner Owake, with 182 bales wool from Timarti, for transhipment to the Waipa, arrived on Saturday afternoon. Stripping Telegrams. Bluff, January- 18.—Sailed ; Arawata, for Melbourne ; N.Z. Shipping Co.’s ship Waitara, M’Kolvie, for London:. 4,119 bales wool, 567 bags wheat, 15 casks shells,, and five ■ passengers. Cargo value 1 at L 88,160 January 19. Arrived: Aibion, at 6 p.m. She left Melbourne on the 14th, and sails at 4; p.m. to-morrow for Dunedin. Passengers Messrs Bodkin, Kidd, Farra (2), Moopy, Young, Lewis, Gilmore, Showman, Lawrence, Barclay Cohen, Carter, Lomax, Turner, Hobbs, Perkins, Resell, South, Misses Belmont, Holmes (2), Collien (2', Barr (3), MflTenzie, Mesdomes Hall and family, Russell, Barr, Sooth and child, and fifteen in the steerage. Ship, Western Monarch (Shaw Savill and Co.), Captain Watson, eighty days from Plymouth, with 369 immigrants and nine saloon passengers for the Bluff, and cargo Jor Dunedin. Three deaths and three births occurred during the passage. Auckland, January sio.—-The Wakatipu carried 2,210 ounces of gold, valued at LIO.OOO. Shaw Savilles barque Gladys sailed for Valpariso.
