Society of England, at Bristol, August 6. —Decision of the Judges: M'Cormick’s Sheaf-binder fulfilled tho conditions of the Society, and was awarded THE GOLD MEDAL. At the Riccarton trial, January 24, 1878 *ke farmers preferred the M Cormick Keapor aud Binder, and wore prepared to give their unsolicited verdict in its favor. At the Kfthpoi Trial, February 7, IS7B, the hirst I rtze, given by the Farmers’ Club, was awarded to tho M'Cormick Machine. At the Camara Trial, February 27, 1878, THE GOLD MEDAL, Given by the Northern Agricultural and PastorSi Association, Oamatu, Otago, was awarded to tho M'Cormick Machine. At the Ashburton County Trial, at Mcthven, on March 6, 1878. the First Prize was awarded to the driver of tho only M'Cormick Machine present in competition with twelve machines of another make. At the Public Trial, hold under the auspices of the Otago Agricultural and Pastoral As»oaLt?ie Grange, Taieri, on March 16, 1878. the Thirty Judges appoint, d were unanimous awarding ih'o FIRST PRIZE TO THE M'CORMICK MACHINE. At the Great Trial at Christohu ch January 16, _ 1879, it was awarded First Prize, itvery Machine set up If required, and guaranteed in perfect working order.
