The amount of revenue received at the Customhouse on goods cleared for consumption this day was L 1.767 2s 2d. The Customs revenue collected at Lyttelton during the July-September quarter was L49,11l (the largest ever collected there In one quarter), against 1*3,961 for the corresponding quarter of 1875. Although no absolute change can be reported in the price of brandy, it is firmly held at 7s 6d in- bulk and 31s in case for Hennessy's. The market is very bare of English and American Balmon. It is now held at 9s, and there is every probability that it will advance eonsiderably. Tobaccos are on the advance, sales of twist having been made at Is 7d for good brands. The Venus brand commands Is 8d to -Is lOd. Oats are very firm at 2s 2d to 2s 3d for good feed. Quotations for other goods are unchanged. THE SHAEE MAEKET. Messrs E.
