Wellington, April 17.—Potatoes, L 4 10s. Batter, Is 2d. Eggs, ,2s. Mr O’Shea reports flour per ton—Oamaru, Ll3 10s to Ll4 ; Canterbury, Ll2 to Ll3. Wheat—None in stock, only chick, saleable at 3s to 4s. Maize scarce. One holder has retailed at Bs. Oats scarce, 5s Sd to 5s 6d. Buyers only from hand to mouth. Bran scarce at Is to Is 3d. Cheese nominal, at 6d to 7d, and unsaleable. Bacon scarce at lOd to lid. Ham scarce at Is Id to Is 2d.
