MR MARTINI ALIAS

To the Editor. Sib, —“Mr Kirkcaldy appeared at the games on Thursday last, and took an active part in the proceedings ” merely as a member of the Volunteer Sports Committee, and as an honorary member of the Scottish Company, but dil not appear in the Captain’s uniform of that or any other company. If “Mr Martini” would be good enough to drop the alias and furnish me with his true name and address I should feel much obliged. My address is corner of York Place and FiUeul street. I am, ftc., W. C. Kirkcaidy, November 11th, 1871. Mr Kirkcaldy did not appear in the Captain’s uniform of the Scottish Company at the late volunteer sports. Jno. M. Jamieson, Lieut. Commanding, Dunedin Scottish Volunteers.
