[from our own correspondent.] W ellinotox, Wednesday* Dec. 15, 4 p.m. A shipment of sugar, consisting of 40 bags, per Rangitoto, has been discovered to contain poisonous matter. Several families who have used it have displayed symptoms of arsenical poisoning. Fortunately there has been no fatal case reported. The analysis which was ordered is not yet finished. A similar case occurred at Camara. The sugar appeared to be white and of excellent quality.
