Applications for tickets will be received m Auckland, by the Honorary Secretary, Mr William James Dalton, at his Offices, High street; by Messrs Dalton k&ojMisa, Grahamstown,. Thames; and by Mr Hannah, Dunedin. . : ■ , Letters from Southern provinces and country districts containing applications 101 tickets must be accompanied by cheque or post-office order for the amount, or, if money is enclosed, should be registered, and tickets will be forwarded by return post. Ten per cent, of the gross proceeds ot the sale of tickets will be retained by the Honorary Treasurer, Mr Von Stumor, who has kindly consented to act in that capacity, and will be handed over to the Committee of the Thames Hospital on behalf of the funds ot that institution immediately after the drawing of the Prizes, which will take place under the supervision of a committee to be appointed by the members subscribing, then present, A list of the successful numbers will be published. Two gentlemen will be appointed by the Hospital Committee to audit the accounts on behalf of the Hospital, The following are the Mining Shares offered to competition : Ist Prize 1 LONG DRIVE Tickets, ss, each.
