MINOR OFFENCE S . William Sheddon, for allowing three hordes to wander, was fined 15s and costs. James Curie, for allowing a horse to wander, was fined ss. Catherine Cripps, charged with displacing the soil in the South Recreation Ground, was discharged with a caution. HAWKING WITHOUT A LICENSE. Ah Long, Ah Poh, and H. Rich, were each fined 10s and costs for this offence. A similar charge ag.inst Richard Young was withdrawn, on the understanding that he would at once take out a hawker’s license. This Day. (Before T. Birch, Esq., R.M.) DRUNK AND DISORDERLY. James Stevens, alias Wm. Stewart, was fined os for this offence. Annie Hamilton was charged with a similar offence. His Worship said he would not, in this instance, inflict a fine, hoping that this would prove a caution to her for the future. If she was again brought before him upon such a charge, he should feel bound to punish her severely.
