"OTICE TO INTENDING LESSEES of the Dunedin Jetties, &c., for 1866. The following Scale of the Jetty Dues on Goods, &c, ha& been fixed for the year 1866 instead of those formerly advertised : Imports—Flour, Salt, Potatoes, Grain, Hay, Coal, Bricks, Lime, Wooden Posts and Rails, and Sawn Timber, Sd per ton Of 20cwt ; Stone, 8d per ton measurement; Firewood, Is 3d per cord ; Hors.es, Is 3d each ; Cattle, Is each ; Sheep, 2d each ; pigs, 3d each. All other goods at the rate of Is 4dper ton of 20cwt, or 40' cubic feet. When goods are chargeable by the cwt or cubic feet, the Lessee shall have the option of charging them either way. Exports—Wool, 6d per bale. All other Goods, &c, free. The Jetty Dues must be paid by the Master or Owner of the Vessel bringing or taking away Goods &c., before the same are landed or shipped, as the case may be. The Weighbridge shall be put up for Lease separately, and the Leesse-shall be taken bound to clean and keep the same clean as often as he may be required, by and to the satisfaction of the Inspector of weights and measuresThe Dues of the Port Chalmers Jetty will not be sold until further notice. Single Stick Play, Trojphy-of Crossed Swords. 2nd. Tilting at the Ring, Crossed Lances. 3rd. Manual Exercise,- Crossed Muskets. 4th. Foot Race (the Competitors to carry their Arms and Accoutrements), Crossed Arrows, sth. Mounted Single Stick Play, Crossed Swords. 6th. Cutting a Sheep in Two, Crossed Swords. 7th. Heads and Posts (Mounted Practice), Swords Crossed. Bth. Foils, Crossed Fleurettes. 9th.' Cadet Race, Crossed Arrows. (Entrance, 2s 6d for each event.) At Five o'clock p.m., VOLUNTEER BOAT RAGE, In 4-Oared Watermen's Skiffs, which have plicwl regularly for hire in the Harbor of Otago, (The boats to be approved by the appointed Regatta Committee), The crews to be made up only from members of their own Corps,-but the number of crews not limited, each oi the winning-crew to receive Trophy of Silver Sculls. (Entrance, 15s each boat.) The day's Pastimes include,'besides the above, line Shooting, Dancing, Aunt Sallies, Rot Abouts, Wheels of Fortune, Wheelbarrow Races, Jumying in Sacks, and all the Fun of a Fair, whilst the wind-up of the amusements will be an AL-FRESCO EVENING BALL. The Committee have made careful arrangements for the public to be supplied with an ample choice of Refreshments. Steamers will run all day and-'night at Sixpenny Fares, and the tide will serve from 9 a.m. till 2 p.m., sufficient water flowing again- before 6 p.m. The Fire Brigade and various Friendly Societies are especially invited to pay the compliment of appearing in their Regalia.
