SURRENDER COMPLETED
JAPANESE IN INDO-CHINA
Rec. 12.20 p.m. SAIGON, Dec. 21. Captain T. I. Bell, of the Royal Navy, accepted the surrender of Vice-Admiral Kondo, thus completing the handing over of all the Japanese forces in Indo-China.
The British authorities will soon relinquish the Naval control, which will be taken over by the French Navy.
