TRAVEL BY RAIL
Heavy Holiday Bookings AH seats on trfins leaving Wellington on December 20, 21, and 22 are already fully booked, states the stationmaster's office, and the indications are that travel will be fairly heavy everywhere. A factor partly responsible for the heavy advance bookings is that many returned servicemen have been retaining the railways tour privilege until the Christmas period.
