OTTAWA, Nov. 25,

Canada intends to continue meat rationing, despite the United States abandonment of it, stated Mr. Mackenzie King. He said that although the United States had exported a large tonnage it was unlikely to be more than 5 per cent, of the total, whereas the Canadian meat export programme demanded the export of nearly onethird of its total supplies.

The world food situation was more urgent and more desperate than ever. Canada intended to continue meat rationing until it was felt that the adoption of other measures was justified.
