The Saleve gelding never looked better, and he has prospects in the scurry event at Otaki on Saturday. Hulabaloo is in excellent fettle, and should run a good race in the Levin Handicap. He finished up a round on the course proper by running six furlongs and 80 yards in 1.26, the first half-mile in 51scc.
Behave went seven furlongs in 1.32. doing it nicely. The son of Phaleron Bay is to be given a race at Woodville. If he trains on all right he is likely to win a race or two, but he has a "dicky" leg, and hard tracks may find him out.

Master Francis, also in the hurdles, went a mile, the last seven furlongs in 1.35. Alright (Ivil) put in two rounds at a solid pace. The son of Inflation is looking in great order. He is engaged in the Rangitikei Cup as well as the sprint event. Glamour Girl was given useful pace work. The Coronach—Kremheild filly is fit enough for anything, and if she settles down she will wm a race or two for tho Smith brothers. Glamour Girl is to run in the Trial at Bulls.
Lambro failed to run up to his track form at Waverley. However, he may show up in the Plate at Bulls. Abo Star, recently purchased b.y Mr. A. H. Hurley, is to contest the hurdles at Bulls. G. Ivil has been engaged to ride Don Mac, First Footing, and Molly Martia at Otaki on Saturday. _ K. Chote's mounts will include Singing Hills, Lord Coronach, and Kilarnev Boy.
