BIGGER VEGETABLE CROPS. Grow better vegetables by sterilising soil with Joyes' Fluid. Seeds and seedlings grown in sterilised soil develop more quickly and are in better condition to withstand insect attack. A simple effective method is to water the plot with a solution'of Jeyes1 Fluid —one tablespoon. to each gallon of water, using about one gallon per square yard. Jeyes' Fluid applied in this fashion will not destroy essential soil bacteria. Afterwards the ground should be dug and left a fortnight. Jeyes Sanitary Compounds, Ltd., London. N.Z.
