CHURCHES OF CHRIST
NEW YOUTH DIRECTOR
The position of Youth Work Director of the Associated Churches of Christ in New Zealand is being taken over by Mr. A. E. White, B.A. (late of the R.A.A.F.), in succession to Mr. G. R. Sterling, who has gone to Australia. Mr. White, who graduated at the Federal Bible College and Melbourne
University, was, prior to his enlistment in the R.A.A.F. in 1941, actively engaged in preaching work in Melbourne and was also associated with the work amongst youth in that city. His studies in Australia covered a fairly wide field of literary activity and his special attributes in this direction will be valuable in the work he takes up in the Dominion. He arrived in Wellington this morning and was greeted by the Dominion Committee of Religious Education and a large number of church people. An official welcome will be tended to Mr. White in the Vivian Street Church of Christ this evening.
