NO APPEARANCE

ARGENTINES AT 1.L.0. MEETING

(By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright,

PARIS, October 27. The Argentine delegation to the 1.L.0. conference failed to appear, even as observers, at the plenary session today. The credentials committee reached no decision in regard to Argentina, but asked the Argentine workers' delegate, Juan Rodriguez, to appear as a witness on Monday. The Italian delegate. Signor Cingolani, told the conference that Italy is planning a large-scale immigration of Italian workers to other countries as one means of solving unemployment, and international co-operation to strengthen the bonds between democratic countries. Requests for Italian workers from countries where labour conditions are satisfactory would be welcomed.
