Her Excellency Lady Newall opened the National Junior Red Cross exhibition and concert in the Town Hall this afternoon.

Her Excellency Lady Newall was present at the annual service for seamen (Trafalgar Day) at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul this evening.
October 29,
Her Excellency Lady Newall, accompanied by Miss N. Walton, left Wellington for Hastings this morning. Her Excellency will* return to Wellington on Wednesday.
Sir Patrick Duff, High Commissioner for the United Kingdom, accompanied by Lady Duff, will leave Wellington this evening for Christchurch, where he will address the annual conference of the Associated Chambers of Commerce of New Zealand tomorrow. They will return to Wellington on Wednesday.
