LAWN TENNIS
The Te Ope, Broadway, Crawford Hill, Technical College, Karori, United, and Women's Public Service tennis clubs held their opening ceremonies for the 1945-46 season on Saturday afternoon, and the Paekakariki club opened it's season yesterday. The Hutt Valley Association held trial matches on Saturday afternoon for the selection of men and women's teams to play Wellington for the Wilding Shield and Nunneley Casket this month.
