BENNETT MEMORIAL RACE
The Hirtt Valley Harrier Club won (he Bennett memorial road race for senior teams on Saturday, beatins Scottish Hartiers by two points. This was the first time Scottish Had been beaten in nny Wellington inter-club cross-country event for many years. Results were:— Senior (individual).—T. Bartlett (Scottish), 37.4, 1: M. Busby .(Individual), 38.7, 2; F. Silver (Scottish), 38:8. 3; C. Seelye (Presbyterian), 38.35, 4; M. Patterson (Hutt Valley). 88.43, 5; R. Hammlngton (Hutt Valley), 39.18, Teams rare (Bennett Memorial).—Hutt Valley, 29pts. 1 : Scottish.: Slpts. 2; Presbyterian. Junior (individual) —R. Reid (Presbyterian), 10.30, 1: W.
