LONDON, September 12. President Truman was asked today what he thought of the suggestion that a large-scale loan should not be given to Britain because it meant direct help in the spreading' of Socialism. The President said, "That is a perfectly silly conclusion." He added that Britain was entitled to any Government she wanted, and the matter was no business of the United States.
