The Manawatu team to meet Wellington in the Rugby representative match at Athletic Park next Saturday has been selected as follows:—Fullback, Brooker; three-quarters, Butt, Stewart, Stirling; five-eighths, Gudsell, Harkness; half-back, Edlin; forwards, Cutler, Gunnell, Mercer, Simmonds, Nichol, Morgan, McCallum,. Jacobseii. Emergencies: Backs. Potaka and Cuff; forward, Denton. ;
The Wellington-Manawalu match is to be commenced at 2.30 p.m. instead of at 3 p.m., and there will also be an earlier start with the curtainraisers, one of which will be provided by Wellington and Manawatu junior representatives.
