BIG FIGURE FOR FILLY
itec. 10.30 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 11. The three-day yearling sales opened at Newmarket with eager bidding. Top prices were:—Filly by Bi& Game from Naptha, 7000gs; filly by Blue Peter from Rosegain, 6000gs; colt by Blue Peter from Centeno, 4100gs; and colt by Panorama from Home Again. 3500g5.
Later in the sale the Maharajah Gaekwar of Baroda paid 9500gs for a colt by Nearco from Cinnamon, also 6800gs for a colt by Stardust from Sea Fairy. '
