Candidates must also have been within the age limits of 1!) and 25 at some point of time in the period from September 1, 1939, to October 31, 11945. So that awards may be made within the required time, applications must reach the registrars of the university colleges of New Zealand not later than October 31. In order that men in the services may have the best possible opportunity of applying, wherever they may be, the directors of the Defence Educational Services have sent special orders to all units of the services. The University has arranged that application forms shall be available immediately from the University and the various university colleges in New Zealand; from the R.N.Z.A.F. liaison officer at base, air forces. S.E.A., New Delhi; j assistant director, E.R.S. headquarters, 2nd N.Z.E.F.. C.M.F.; and from the Uniiversity agent at the office of the High Commissioner for New Zealand in London.
