OBITUARY
SIR ALLAN MACDIARMID
The death is announced from liondon of Sir Allan Macdiarmid, chairman of Stewards and Lloyds, Limited. Sir Allan was also president of the Iron and Steel Federation, and was largely responsible for the £ 120,000,000 scheme for developing the steel industry in the United Kingdom. ■
