CRITICISM IN FRANCE
Rec. 10 a.m. PARIS, Sept. 10. The Left Wing Radical "Franctireur," in a leader on General de Gaulle's statement on Anglo-French relations, expresses surprise that "such a categoric, not to say brutal statement, should be made on the eve of the Foreign Ministers' Conference in London." It criticised General de Gaulle's proposal as leading to the separation of Europe into two hostile blocs which would become rivals arid then antagonists—not without danger to the peace. The Socialist newspaper "Cite Soir" says that the question is not so mydi to divide Germany as to re-educate her and integrate her into a larger whole of a European federation.
