Sir I note with interest an article in your current issue entitled "The Cost of a Home." I suggest, however that both the builder and your reporter have missed a cardinal point. Every item of material in that home carries a burden of taxation. The moment an axe is put to a tree or a mineral is laid bare, taxation (in the form of wage tax) commences.
