Units of the 24th Destroyer Flotilla of the British Pacific Fleet, by remainin * -it sea continuously for more tnan 7(f days, have created an endurance record for destroyers of the Royal Navy Each destroyer reluelled more thanl 20 times from tankers in the flotilla and consumed 22.000 tons ot oil fuel and more than 7000 tons of fresh water which was distilled on board. -
