FOUR PEOPLE INJURED
P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 9. A car driven by Mr. G. H. Nicholls, aged 58, struck a telegraph pole at West Melton at 11 a.m. today. Mrs. C. Carodus, 39, Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Nicholls, and Miss N. Gallagher, 69. received injuries and were admitted to hospital. Mrs. Carodus is on the seriously ill list. The condition of the others is satisfactory.
