PNINA SALZMAN RECITALS.

On Tuesday morning at the D.I.C. box plans v ill be opened for the three pianoforte recitals to' be. presented at the Town Hall on September 20, 2fi, and 27, by the brilliant pianist Pnina Salzman. It is said that Miss Salzman'.s technique is perfect, but In addition there is a warmth in her playing which, combined with a charming personality, makes her a popular favourite with her audiences. "It is difficult to believe," wrote a critic, "that there-are many young pianists at. the present time who have more than Miss Sal/.man's extraordinary gifts." The booking for Miss Kalzman's Auckland season, which befiins on Wednesday next, is already the largest over recorded for an overseas pianist in that city.
