ROGUE AND VAGABOND
"For the past few weeks he has been going from boarding-house to board-ing-house and has been drinking methylated spirits," said Sub-Inspector J. Abel in the Magistrate's Court today when outlining the facts of a charge preferred against Joseph Howard Phillips, labourer, of no fixed abode, 47, of being a rogue and vagabond in that he had insufficient lawful means of support. The accused pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two months' imprisonment by Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M.
