RUGBY LEAGUE
Mr. L. Davies has been appointed referee of the Auckland-Wellington Rugby League match to be played at the Basin Reserve tomorrow, commencing at 3 p.m. Auckland and Wellington fifth grade representatives will supply the curtain-raiser at 1.45 p.m.
Several changes have been made in the Wellington Rugby representative team to play Taranaki at New Plymouth tomorrow. The team is now as follows:—Morrison (captain), Jack, Roberts, Abbott; Wickham, Jaffray; Tindill; Beard, Henderson, Waller. Amies. Carter, May, Burke, and Palmer: emergency. Vaughan, with a forward to be added.
