CONTROLS LIFTED

WOOL TEXTILE INDUSTRIES

(Special P.A. Correspondent.) Rec. 9 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 4. The wool textile industries of Yorkshire and Lancashire can now employ as many workers as they like. Wool Control announced that they are freed of control, which permitted them to employ only 60 to 70 per cent, of their normal number of hands. The announcement also implied that the end of concentration in these industries is in sight and that small firms which were closed in order to free man-power and storage space will be allowed to reopen.
