ELECTIONS IN ITALY
Rec. 9 a.m. ROME, September 2 The Prime Minister (Mr. Parri) adaddressing Italy's six-party National Liberation Committee at Milan, said that he wanted elections for a constitutional assembly as soon as possible, but -warned that he would cancel the elections if there was any threat of violence against voters. A constitutional assembly could be invoked only by a free people not living under armistice conditions. He promised a Budget in October and appealed for the intensification of the financial purge under which the Government was receiving financial aid by taking over Fascist properties
