GESTAPO CHIEF
ARRESTED BY AMERICANS
Rec. 9 a.m. SALZBURG, Aug. ,26. Hubert Huber, former Gestapo chief here, has been arrested by the American military authorities for trial as a war criminal. A court-martial at Limoges sentenced to death a German lieutenant, Ernst Ponsel, who was found guilty of setting fire to the village of Sorg.es and executing several members of the resistance forces.
