FOR GREEK UNITY

ALL-PARTY GOVERNMENT ADVOCATED

ATHENS, July 23. The Foreign Minister of Greece, M. Sofianopoulos, has resigned, stating that he is satisfied that Greek interests would be best served by the formation of a Government in which all political parties were represented. Such a Government, which should be formed without delay, would represent a united Greece and inspire a feeling of security, and would be able to hold genuine elections.

Six members of EAM have been sentenced to death for killing two policemen during the rising in December. Four others have been imprisoned for life.
