RUSSIAN BUDGET

INCREASE OF 18.3 PER CENT. Rec. 9 a.m. LONDON, June 6.

Moscow radio reports that the Russian Budget for 1945, presented by th« Supreme Soviet, totals 28,736 million roubles, which is an increase of 18.S per cent, over 1944. Seventy-two per cent, of the 194S Budget is allocated to financing social and cultural institutions.

Stalin and other members of the Supreme Council were cheered when they arrived at the opening session.
