PARTIES TO HAVE RADIO DATES
Rec. 10 a.m. LONDON, May 25. In the process of his Cabinet-making Mr. Churchill has been working longer hours than even he is accustomed to, dividing his time between Cabinetmaking, running the war against Japan, and preparing for the, campaign in his own electorate, which he will open tomorrow with eight meetings in five hours. Mr. Churchill will open his election campaign on the radio. He will also make the last radio speech for the Conservatives. Each of the principal parties will be allotted radio dates and will choose its own speakers. The Parliamentary roundsman of '•The Times" says that Mr. Churchill's Government will be the one he will ask the nation to return to power in the election. If successful, his aim will be to strengthen the Government still further. .
Planes of the R.A.F. Transport Command, reinforced by others from the Bomber Command, will deliver ballot papers and election literature to British servicemen stationed overseas, says the "Evening News." The papers will be flown to 17 areas, ranging from Europe to Africa, Iceland, Canada, and Burma.
