ACADEMY EXHIBITION

At the autumn exhibition of the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts in the temporary Art Gallery (old D.I.C. tearooms), there are on view 190 oil paintings, water colours, and drawings by leading artists of the Dominion. The subjects range from landscapes and portraits to still life, and the styles and outlooks of the artists represented are so. varied that intending purchasers of pictures may be assured of finding something to suit their individual tastes. The exhibition is open on week days from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Friday evenings from 7 to 9, and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.
