REGISTRAR APPOINTED
PROMOTIONS ANNOUNCED
The appointment as Registrar of the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal of Mr. A. Reynolds, Registrar of the Supreme Court, Dunedin, was announced today, the vacancy occurring because of the retirement of Mr. G. S. Clark. Mr. Reynolds was formerly Clerk of the Magistrate's Court, Wellington, and before going to Dunedin served as Registrar of the Supreme Court and Clerk of the Magistrate's Court, Hamilton. Other promotions announced are as follows: — ■_, ,- Mr. C. O. Pratt, Registrar and Clerk of Court, Palmerston North, to be Registrar, Dunedin. Mr. W. S. Jones, Clerk of Court, Christchurch, to be Registrar and Clerk of Court, Palmerston North. Mr. W. J. Blackler, Clerk of Court, Dunedin, to be Clerk of Court, Christchurch. . , Mr. A. Whitaker, Registrar and Clerk of Court, Masterton, to be Clerk of Court, Dunedin. Before going to Masterton Mr.-Whitaker was for many years assistant Clerk of Court, Wellington. . . Mr. G. E. Pollock, Deputy Registrar, Wellington (at present serving m Army Headquarters), to be Registrar and Clerk of Court, Masterton. Mr A. L. Tresidder, Clerk of Court, Wellington, to be Registrar and Clerk of Court, Invercargill (vacancy caused by appointment of Mr. A. E. Dobbie aS M f Tb^L.-Jameson, Registrar and Clerk "of Court, Nelson, to be Clerk of Court, Wellington. Mr. Jameson was for a long period Clerk of Court at Lower Hutt and Petone. Mr P. M. Martin, Registrar and Clerk of Court, Blenheim, to be Registrar and Clerk of Court, Nelson. Mr J. T. A. Beaumont, Deputy Registrar and Assistant Clerk of Court, Palmerston North, to be Registrar and Clerk of Court, Blenheim.
