FLEETS BEING BUILT |>Rec. 12.30 p.m. SYDNEY, May 14. ; Fleets of giant new bombers are Sbeing built in Britain for mass atftacks on Japan, said Mr. John Storey, director of the Beaufort Division of the 'Commonwealth Department of Aircraft Production, who has returned to after six months in England «and the United States. The new bombers would have the ;same bomb capacity as the standard {Lancaster, but would have a much rgreater range and heavier armament. ■In the United States factories in all parts of the country were turning out Super-Fortresses or Super-Fortress parts for the war against Japan, he 'said.
