Walter Robert Joseph Barrott, soldier, 21, was charged before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday with the unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl aged 15 years, at Tawa Flat, and also attempting to unlawfully supply her with a box containing six pills with intent to procure a miscarriage. He pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial.
