BROOKLYN COMMUNITY CENTRE
The interim committee set up to consider the. erection of a community centre in Brooklyn has approached representatives of most of the societies active in the district and, at a recent meeting, it was reported that general interest has been taken in the proposal. Accordingly, it has been decided to call a public meeting of all Brooklyn residents to receive suggestions as to the most suitable type of building which will cater for all residents of the district, taking a long view of the needs of Brooklyn as a whole, and to elect a committee which will carry out the wishes of the meeting. The meeting will be held on May 30 under the chairmanshin of Mr. C. M. Bowden. M.P.
