ON SURRENDER

NO TERMS FOR NAZIS

ALLIED STAND UNCHANGED (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright.) Rec. 11.30 a.m.

WASHINGTON, March 14.

Allied military officials will accept the unconditional surrender of German units of any size, including whole army groups, but will not make any deal for an armistice or truce. This attitude was again stated today in response to rumours that yon Rundstedt had sought armistice terms from General Eisenhower without success.

An emissary of yon Rundstedt was reported to have crossed the Rhine last week under a white flag tp test out General Eisenhower's sentiment on a German surrender in the west.
