THANKS FOR A TREAT

The following letter has been received from "A Father" on board a liner which arrived in Wellington recently:—"May I take this opportunity of expressing through your paper the very real gratitude of all the children on board this ship to the members of the Wellington Waterside Workers' Union for their very generous gesture of £25 donated by them to provide a treat. The treat will be a very real one for the youngsters, but in the hearts of the parents there will always be an affectionate memory of Wellington."
