No night shifts have been worked on Union Company ships for a month, the Auckland Waterside Workers' Union having adhered to its decision not to work the shift. The union's action folowed a dispute over the en> ployment of non-union labour. No agreement was reached when the matter was referred to the national disputes committee in Wellington.—P.A.
