CHARGES OF SPEEDING

Charged with driving in a manner which might have been dangerous to the public, Richard Trevor Casey, a returned serviceman, appeared in the Lower Hutt Magistrate's Court yesterday. Inspector A. J. Archer said it was- one o£ the worst cases that had recently come under his notice. The defendant Sad been followed from the V.I.C. corner in Lower Hutt to the railway station, and he had not only been travelling at 45 m.ph., but had overtaken traffic on the Hutt Bridge and again in Railway Avenue.
